Enterprise SEO Services: A Specialist Enterprise SEO Agency for Large, Complicated Websites
Enterprise SEO is search optimisation for websites whose size is the problem: thousands of URLs generated by templates, several teams publishing at once, sections competing with each other for the same searches, and an approval process that has to be satisfied before anything changes. Perth Digital Edge provides enterprise SEO services for large sites in Perth and across Australia, scoped per project, with no lock-in contract and most programs sitting above our standard $3,000 to $5,500 a month range. Every recommendation is drawn from Google’s own records of how the site is crawled, searched and used: we use data, we do not guess.

What enterprise means here, and what we are not
Some honesty before anything else. Perth Digital Edge is a specialist team led by Ben Tippett in Wanneroo, not a large agency with floors of account managers, and we do not pretend otherwise. When we say enterprise SEO we mean the size and complexity of the website, not the size of your marketing department. A site with many templates, thousands of pages, several stakeholders and a governance process is an enterprise SEO problem whether the organisation employs fifty people or five thousand.
What that buys you is directness. The person who runs the crawl, reads the Search Console export and finds the template fault is the person who presents it to your team and answers the developer’s questions. What it does not buy you is a bench of people we can embed full time across departments. If a program genuinely needs that, we will say so at the scoping call rather than overreach.
We have worked across education and learning technology, healthcare, finance and lending, local government, tourism, automotive, building materials, security and the trades. The method is the same in each. The templates, stakeholders and approval paths are what change.
Where large websites lose visibility
Templates multiply mistakes. A title pattern that is wrong on one template is wrong on every page built from it, and a canonical tag pointing at the wrong place quietly removes a whole section from the index. Small sites make one error per page; large sites make one per thousand pages.
Crawl attention is finite. A large site spends Google’s crawl budget on filter combinations, expired campaign pages, calendar archives, session URLs and duplicate paths unless something stops it, and the pages that carry revenue wait weeks to be recrawled after they change.
Sections compete. A product page, a support article, a campaign landing page and a regional page all target the same intent, so Google alternates between them and none holds a position. Internal links follow history rather than commercial value, so the pages that made money five years ago hold the authority and the pages that make money now sit three clicks deep.
Content has no owner. Several teams publish, nobody decides which page answers which question, and the archive grows faster than anyone can audit it. None of this is fixed by writing more content.
Google’s data at enterprise scale
Search Console API
The Performance report inside Search Console stops at 1,000 rows. For a site with tens of thousands of URLs that is a keyhole view. Through the Search Console API on Google Cloud we export the complete query and page data, then group it by template, section, country and device, which is how we find a template that is fully indexed and earns nothing, or a section with millions of impressions and a click rate near zero.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 adds key events by section, so priorities follow revenue rather than raw traffic.
Keyword Planner via the Google Ads API
Keyword Planner data, pulled through the Google Ads API, puts Google’s own volumes and click costs beside every section, so priorities are argued in dollars.
Natural Language API
The Natural Language API reads a sample of pages from each template and shows which entities Google actually extracts, which is how we discover that the boilerplate in a template outweighs the unique content on every page built from it.
PageSpeed Insights and Chrome UX Report
PageSpeed Insights, fed with Chrome UX Report field data, gives real visitor performance by URL group against Google’s published Core Web Vitals thresholds, which our technical SEO page sets out. That data set is the audit, and it is also what we bring to stakeholder meetings instead of a report: people who go through the same figures together stop asking whether SEO is working and start asking what to fix next.
What the search data says about enterprise SEO
Ahrefs (Australia, September 2026) shows “enterprise SEO agency” and “enterprise SEO services” at around 800 searches a month each, “enterprise SEO” at around 700, “enterprise SEO company” at around 400 and “enterprise SEO Australia” at around 200. Every one of the main terms shows an AI overview, and the difficulty scores are near zero, which says more about how thin the pages ranking for them are than about how easy the work is.
The click costs are telling. Ahrefs estimates about US$12 a click for “enterprise SEO agency” and US$9 for “enterprise SEO”, but only around US$1 for “enterprise SEO services” and US$0.30 for “enterprise SEO company”. Buyers who type “agency” are the ones the market pays to reach.
What our enterprise SEO services cover
Template level technical audit
A full crawl reconciled against the Search Console export and server logs where available, with findings grouped by template rather than by page so that one fix resolves thousands of URLs: indexing, canonicals, redirects, structured data, rendering and Core Web Vitals.
Crawl and index control
Decisions on which URL patterns should be indexed, canonicalised, blocked or removed, written as rules your developers can implement and test, so crawl budget flows to the pages that carry revenue.
Architecture and internal linking
A hierarchy that reflects what the business sells now, with navigation, breadcrumbs and contextual links moving authority to commercial sections, and competing pages consolidated or differentiated so each intent has one owner.
Content governance
An inventory of what exists, what should be merged, retired or written, plus a publishing model that tells each team which questions its pages own, so content is added by plan rather than by habit.
Migrations and platform changes
Redirect mapping, staging crawls, tracking checks and launch monitoring, because a rebuild is the moment a large site loses years of authority if the redirects are wrong.
Stakeholder meetings
No dashboard, no recorded video and no report. We meet the people who defend the budget and work through Search Console, GA4 and Ahrefs data grouped the way your organisation is grouped. Link building and local SEO for multi-location groups are included where the data supports them.
Results at scale from our published work
These are sites with hundreds of ranking terms, not multinationals; we publish them because the figures are real and the method is the one we apply to larger sites.
Ningaloo Reef Station, a regional WA tourism business, reached page one for 182 keywords within 90 days of an SEO and content program and has held more than 50 there since, with new users up 440 percent and booking actions up 41 percent.
Sell My Car Pro, a Perth car buying service, reached page one for 168 keywords in its first 90 days, holds more than 60 of them, and saw new users rise 320 percent and valuation tool completions rise 285 percent; the client says results started before any money went into ads.
Castle Security, a Perth security systems installer, holds 109 keywords on page one after a rebuild, SEO, content and link building, with traffic up 364 percent, key events up 185 percent and around 15,000 organic visitors a year.
Energetics Institute engaged us in 2018 to move a counselling practice site of more than 100 pages onto a new theme and make it rank. Five years later the practice sits at positions one to three for many of its terms, as the review below records. PSS Perth Security Services, trading for thirty years, describes in the second review a build led personally rather than handed offshore.
AI answers at scale
At enterprise scale the template decides whether a site is cited in AI answers, because the template decides whether every page carries a plain answer, readable entities and structured data or buries them. Westside Auto Wholesale, a long term client and a Perth dealership cited from 308 pages, shows the effect: on 11 September 2026 Ahrefs counted 2,311 citations of westsideauto.com.au in AI generated answers, from 308 different pages, including 480 in Google AI Overviews, 286 in Perplexity and 88 in ChatGPT. Our own 44 cited pages produced 301 citations on the same day. We cannot promise any organisation a citation, so the measurement matters: AI citations from Ahrefs are tracked beside rankings and discussed with your stakeholders when we meet. Our AI search optimisation page covers what makes a template citable.
What enterprise SEO costs
Enterprise programs are scoped per project after a free audit and a scoping call, because the work depends on the number of templates and URLs, the stakeholders and approval steps involved, whether a migration is coming and how much implementation your developers will carry. Most programs sit above the $3,000 to $5,500 a month range of our standard campaigns, and every one runs month to month with thirty days notice.
The scoping call ends with a written scope and a monthly figure. You will not receive reports; you will meet the people doing the work. If your site does not need an enterprise program, we will say so and point you to the campaigns on our SEO Perth page.
How an enterprise SEO program runs
Months one and two
Discovery. We export the full Search Console and GA4 data through the APIs, crawl the site, sample every template with the Natural Language API, benchmark Core Web Vitals by URL group and interview the teams who publish. The output is a prioritised roadmap by template and section, agreed with your stakeholders.
Months three to six
Implementation. Crawl and index rules, template fixes and redirect mapping go to your developers as tested tickets, or we implement them where we have access. Content consolidation begins with the sections carrying the most revenue, and instead of a dashboard, we meet your stakeholders so everyone works from the same numbers.
Month seven onward
Compounding. Each quarter the roadmap is refreshed from the data, new sections join the governance model, and link earning and content continue where the numbers justify them. Large sites move in steps as templates are fixed and recrawled, and the timeline for each step comes from the crawl data, not a sales deck.
Real reviews. A selection from our Google and Clutch reviews, each one exactly as the client wrote it. Read them on Google.
