Remarketing Perth: A Google Remarketing Agency That Brings Back the Visitors Who Almost Enquired
Remarketing shows ads to people who have already visited your website but left without enquiring or buying, following them across Google’s Display Network, YouTube, Gmail, Google search results and Meta’s platforms until they come back or the list expires. Perth Digital Edge is a Google remarketing agency in Wanneroo that builds and runs these campaigns for Perth businesses. Management is one flat monthly fee sized to the account, not a cut of your spend, and there is nothing to pay up front and no minimum term. Most small businesses we work with start with a media budget of $800 to $2,500 a month. The tracking is audited before a single audience is built, because remarketing runs entirely on your own site’s data, and on this page especially we use data, we do not guess, starting with whether yours is being recorded correctly.

How remarketing works
A tag on your website adds each visitor to a list in Google Ads or Meta, and campaigns then bid to show ads to the people on that list wherever they browse next. Google lets a list hold members from one day up to 540 days, so a visitor who read your pricing page yesterday can be treated differently from one who bought from you last year. Lists can be built from any page or action: everyone who visited, people who viewed a specific service, people who started a form and stopped, shoppers who added to a cart and left, and customers who already converted, who are excluded so you stop paying to reach them.
The campaign then decides what each list sees and how often. A visitor from the last few days gets a reminder. A visitor from the last month gets proof: a review, a result, an offer. Past customers get something relevant to what they bought. Frequency caps keep the ads from becoming wallpaper, and sequential creative means the third impression says something the first did not. The ads appear on the millions of sites and apps in the Google Display Network, on YouTube, in Gmail, and, through remarketing lists for search ads, as higher bids when a past visitor searches for you or your service again on Google. Meta’s pixel does the same job across Facebook and Instagram.
Done well, remarketing is the cheapest conversion in the account, because the person already knows you. Done badly it is the same banner served forty times to someone who already bought, which is why the audience design and the exclusions matter more than the creative.
What the search data says about remarketing
Ahrefs (Australia, September 2026) puts “Google remarketing agency” at around 450 searches a month, topped by an AI overview and carrying a click cost of about US$20, one of the highest click costs across our service pages. “Remarketing services” draws around 300 searches a month, “remarketing Perth” around 250, both with an AI overview, “remarketing agency” around 200, and “retargeting agency” around 20. Australians still say remarketing, Google’s term, rather than retargeting.
A US$20 click tells you agencies value this buyer highly, and for good reason: a business searching for a remarketing agency already has traffic, already runs ads and already knows something is leaking. The AI overview on the three largest terms means that buyer has usually read a generated explanation of how remarketing works before arriving here, so this page spends its words on what the overview cannot give: our method, our prices and named results.
Google’s own data, applied to remarketing
Remarketing is only as good as the data feeding the lists, so we connect to Google’s systems directly rather than reading summary reports.
Search Console API
The Search Console API shows which queries bring first visits to each page, so we know what a returning visitor was originally looking for.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 tells us which pages people visit before they enquire and which they abandon, so the lists are built around real behaviour, and its audiences can be shared straight into Google Ads.
Keyword Planner via the Google Ads API
The Google Ads API gives us the full account: which lists are filling, how often each member sees an ad, and what each audience costs per conversion. Keyword Planner, through the Google Ads API, sizes the search terms behind remarketing lists for search ads.
PageSpeed Insights and Chrome UX Report
Chrome UX Report field data, read through the PageSpeed Insights API, checks that the page a returning visitor lands on passes Google’s Core Web Vitals thresholds, because slow pages are usually why they left the first time.
What our remarketing services cover
Tracking audit and tag setup
We check the Google tag, the Meta pixel and the Conversions API, the key events in Google Analytics 4 and the conversion actions in Google Ads before anything else. In many accounts we inherit something is missing or double counting, and fixing it changes the numbers more than any creative.
Audience design
Lists built from behaviour rather than from the whole site: service page viewers, pricing page viewers, form abandoners, cart abandoners, past customers, and time windows for each, with converters excluded and overlapping lists prevented from bidding against each other.
Google Display remarketing
Responsive display ads and designed banners across the Display Network, YouTube and Gmail, with placement exclusions so your brand does not appear beside content you would not want it near, and frequency caps set per list.
Remarketing lists for search ads
Higher bids and tailored ad copy when a past visitor searches again on Google, which catches the person who compared three providers last week and is now ready to choose one.
Dynamic remarketing for ecommerce
Ads that show the exact products a shopper viewed or left in a cart, generated from your product feed, across Google and Meta. This is the format that recovers abandoned carts, and it needs a clean feed to work.
Meta retargeting
Facebook and Instagram campaigns aimed at your site visitors and engaged audiences, with the same exclusions and time windows, so the customer meets one consistent message across both platforms. Our Facebook advertising page covers the Meta side in detail.
Creative rotation and meetings on results
Sequential messages for each window, creative refreshed before fatigue, and meetings rather than a report, starting with cost per enquiry or sale by audience, so you can see which list pays and which one is quietly spending.
How a remarketing campaign runs
Month one
Tracking audit and repairs, key events confirmed, audiences built and allowed to fill, creative produced for each window, and launch with frequency caps in place. Where the site has too little traffic to fill a list, we say so and recommend building the traffic first.
Months two and three
Testing windows, messages and platforms against each other, watching cost per conversion by list, trimming lists that spend without converting and expanding the ones that do. Search remarketing lists are added once the display lists have settled.
Month four onward
Refinement. Creative refreshed on a schedule, product feeds maintained for dynamic campaigns, new lists added as new pages and offers launch, and the remarketing budget reviewed against search and social so the whole account, not just this layer, is producing enquiries at an acceptable cost.
Results from accounts we manage
Home Base, a Perth business, came to us with Google Ads that were under-recording conversions. After we fixed the conversion tracking, recorded conversions rose 182 percent and 24 percent more conversion actions were captured, with no increase in ad spend. Remarketing depends on the same conversion data, which is why the audit comes first.
4×4 Extras sells automotive accessories in Perth and hands its Google Ads to us. Under our management its cost per conversion dropped 22 percent at the same time as active users climbed 161 percent, key events climbed 186 percent and course sales grew 29 percent.
FencrGatr, a Perth fencing and gates business, returns 3.2 times its spend across Google and Meta advertising, and quote requests and enquiries are up 215 percent across the programme.
Sell My Car Pro, a Perth car buying service, is the example we use for sequence. We built its website, SEO and branding first, and the business was producing results before any money went into ads, in the client’s words below. Remarketing needs visitors to work on, and the honest order is to earn them first.
What remarketing costs in Perth
You pay Google and Meta for the media from your own accounts, and you pay us a flat monthly fee for managing it. For most small businesses a remarketing media budget of $800 to $2,500 a month is enough to cover the lists a Perth site generates, and the right figure depends on how much traffic the site gets, how long your sales cycle runs and how many platforms are in play. Our fee reflects the complexity of the account rather than the size of the budget, and it can be stopped with a month’s notice.
If your site does not yet have the traffic to fill a remarketing list, we will tell you so and recommend SEO or search advertising first rather than take a fee for campaigns that cannot run.
