Google Ads Adelaide: Flat Fee Google Ads Management for a Market Where Every Click Has to Count
Google Ads lets an Adelaide business appear above the organic results for the exact searches its customers make, paying only when someone clicks through. Perth Digital Edge is a Google Ads agency Adelaide businesses can engage for one flat management fee a month, sized to the account rather than taken as a percentage of your Google spend, with nothing charged for setup, no contract to be locked into, and about $1,500 a month in media recommended as a starting budget for most small businesses. Every campaign is planned and run from Google’s own data, because we use data, we do not guess.

What Google Ads management involves
Switching on a campaign takes an afternoon. Managing one is a different job: keeping the account aimed at people who are ready to buy, in the parts of Adelaide you serve, at a cost for each enquiry that leaves a profit once the work is done. That means choosing searches by intent rather than volume, excluding the searches that will never become customers, matching each ad to a page that answers it, and tracking calls, forms and sales accurately enough that the account is steered by results rather than by clicks.
Adelaide rewards that discipline. Its plumber clicks cost well under Brisbane’s, its family lawyer clicks about half of what Sydney’s or Brisbane’s cost, and its search volumes are smaller, so an account that leaks budget to the wrong searches has less volume to recover from. Structure and tracking matter more here, not less.
We are based in Wanneroo, Perth, and manage Adelaide accounts remotely: online meetings over your live data instead of reports, questions answered as they arise, and a visit by arrangement when a project warrants it. Our published results are Perth and Hong Kong clients, named. We have not invented an Adelaide one.
The searches your Adelaide customers make
Ahrefs (Australia, September 2026) counts about 2,100 searches a month for “plumber Adelaide” at an estimated US$5.00 a click. The same search costs about US$8.00 in Brisbane and US$6.00 in Melbourne. “Web design Adelaide” draws about 1,200 searches at US$3.50, “electrician Adelaide” 1,000 at US$4.00, “dentist Adelaide” 700 at US$3.00, “physio Adelaide” 450 at US$2.00, “accountant Adelaide” 350 at US$3.00 and “family lawyer Adelaide” 250 at US$3.50, half the US$7.00 a Sydney or Brisbane family lawyer pays.
Cheaper clicks are an advantage only if they become enquiries. A lawyer bidding on 250 searches a month cannot waste any of them on people looking for free legal aid or a law degree. The electrician at US$4.00 on 1,000 searches has more room to test, and the tracking has to be clean enough to show which suburbs and job types produced the work.
The agency terms are smaller again. “Google Ads Adelaide” is searched about 700 times a month and shows an AI overview and video results, “Google Ads agency Adelaide” about 500 with a map pack, and “Google Ads management Adelaide” about 250. The old name persists: “AdWords Adelaide” still draws about 100 searches a month, and Ahrefs estimates about US$30 a click for it, the most expensive term on this page by a distance. Agencies compete harder for your attention than your customers’ searches ever cost.
Results from Google Ads accounts we run
Sense Recruitment, a recruitment business in Perth, is the result Adelaide owners should look at first, because nothing was added to the budget. Conversions rose 21.8 percent on the same spend.
Home Base, also in Perth, shows what tracking alone can do: conversions up 182 percent after the conversion tracking was corrected, recorded conversion actions up 24 percent, ad spend unchanged.
For 4×4 Extras, an automotive accessories business in Perth, active users grew 161 percent, key events 186 percent and course sales 29 percent while the cost per conversion fell 22 percent.
Therapy Partners, a psychology practice in Hong Kong, gained 20.3 percent more traffic from ads and 14.4 percent more key events after we rebuilt the account with one campaign per service line and proper conversion tracking.
The Google and Meta campaigns for FencrGatr, a fencing and gates company in Perth, returned 3.2 times their spend, and quote requests and enquiries were up 215 percent across the wider campaign.
Westside Auto Wholesale, which sells used cars in Perth, has worked with us for years across Google Ads, SEO, content, web design and more. Jon Myers reviewed the management of what he calls a rather complex AdWords account. The organic side of that work is measurable too: Ahrefs counted 2,311 AI answer citations of westsideauto.com.au from 308 pages on 11 September 2026. Tom Vogel’s review below is about a different kind of engagement, an honest assessment of a complicated request, which is what the free audit is meant to be.
What Google Ads management costs in Adelaide
We charge a flat monthly management fee, sized to your account once we have audited it, and we publish the model because the structure matters as much as the figure. A percentage of spend gives an agency a reason to grow your budget; a flat fee gives it a reason to grow your enquiries. Setup costs nothing, nothing locks you in, and your media budget is paid to Google through your own account. Most small businesses should start at around $1,500 a month of media, with the audit deciding whether your category needs more.
Where the fee lands depends on how many campaigns the account needs, whether landing pages have to be built and how much tracking has to be repaired. You will see the figure before anything starts.
What the management includes
Audit and account structure
An existing account is read through the Google Ads API before we touch it: search terms, match types, wasted spend, geographic settings, tracking and the history worth keeping. New accounts are built with a campaign for each service so budgets follow margin.
Keyword research by intent
Google’s own volume and click cost for each service across the Adelaide suburbs you serve, the buying searches separated from research searches, and negative keyword lists written before launch.
Ads and assets
Ads that name the service and the area, say what the caller receives and carry call, location and sitelink assets so a phone user can ring or find you without opening the site.
Landing pages
Each campaign sends people to a page written for that search, with the enquiry route visible at once. Where the existing site cannot carry such pages, we build them through our web design work, and Chrome UX Report data tells us how they perform on real phones.
Conversion tracking
Calls, forms, bookings and sales tracked into Google Ads and Google Analytics 4, tested against what the office actually received, so bidding learns from genuine enquiries.
Weekly optimisation and regular meetings
Search term reviews and exclusions every week, bids and budgets moved toward what converts, Shopping or remarketing added when the data justifies them, and meetings, not reports, that explain spend, enquiries, cost per enquiry and the next changes.
Google’s data instead of estimates
The Google Ads dashboard averages things out. Our Google Cloud connection to Google’s APIs means nothing is averaged.
Search Console API
The Search Console API returns every query your site already ranks for, page by page and past the standard report’s row limit, so we do not buy clicks you already earn.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 shows which visits became enquiries and which left.
Keyword Planner via the Google Ads API
The Google Ads API returns every search term, ad and conversion in your account, and the conversion tracking we set up writes real enquiries back into it. Keyword Planner, through the same connection, gives Google’s own volume and click cost for each Adelaide search rather than a third party’s estimate.
Natural Language API
The Natural Language API shows which entities Google reads on each landing page, confirming the page says what the ad said.
PageSpeed Insights and Chrome UX Report
Chrome UX Report field data, reached through the PageSpeed Insights API, reports how the page performs for real visitors. The same data Google uses, read directly, with decisions made on it every week.
How an Adelaide account runs
Month one
Audit or build, conversion tracking installed in Google Ads and GA4 and proven with test enquiries, Keyword Planner volumes and costs for each service and suburb, and campaigns, ads, negatives, budgets and a target cost per enquiry agreed with you before anything serves.
Months two to six
Weekly search term reviews and exclusions, budgets shifted toward the campaigns producing enquiries, ad variations tested, landing pages adjusted from GA4 behaviour, and online meetings, not a report, to check cost per enquiry against the target.
Month seven onward
Expansion where the data supports it: new suburbs, new services, Shopping or remarketing, and less spend on any search that local SEO has begun to win without paying, the work our SEO Adelaide page describes.
