SEO case study: a Perth concreting contractor grows organic traffic 312% in three months
A Perth concreting business with solid work and a website that did not reflect it. We rebuilt the page architecture around the way people in Perth actually search for concreting, cleaned up the quote flow, and launched with link building already supporting it.
Organic traffic by month three
Conversions in month one
Target keywords on page one in month one
Link building live at launch
The client
A concreter whose website said far less than the work did
Project Concrete delivers driveways, slabs, patios, decorative and exposed aggregate concreting across the Perth metro area. The work quality was never the problem. The business had a reputation built on finished jobs and repeat referrals.
What it did not have was a site that could turn search demand into quote requests. The structure did not match how buyers look for concreting work, and the quote process asked too much of someone who just wanted a price on a driveway.
The challenge
Weak service pages and a quote flow that lost people
The site had thin service and location pages that gave search engines very little to rank and gave buyers even less reason to enquire. Concreting searches in Perth split sharply by job type and by suburb, and the site was not structured to answer either.
The quote flow was the second problem. It was clunky enough that people who had arrived ready to ask for a price dropped out before finishing. Traffic alone was never going to fix that, so both had to be addressed together.
The work
Architecture rebuilt around real search intent
We rebuilt the page architecture around real search intent, giving each concreting service and each priority suburb a page with a genuine reason to exist. The quote flow was cleaned up so a visitor could get to a price conversation in a few steps rather than abandoning halfway.
Rather than waiting for the rebuild to settle before starting off-page work, the launch went live with link building already supporting it. That is why the first month showed movement instead of the usual quiet period.
The result
Page one inside a month, 312 per cent by month three
In the first month, 14 target keywords reached page one and the campaign generated 62 conversions. That early movement came from launching the rebuild and the link building together rather than in sequence.
By month three, organic traffic had grown by 312 per cent. The gains held because the structure underneath was right: each service and suburb page earning its own visibility instead of a handful of pages carrying the whole site.
